Sarah Tierney

Sarah Tierney has spent 20 years working in film and television. She began her career as a producer working mainly on international current affairs and documentary, characterised by hard-won access. Her producing credits include Oscar-nominated, BIFA-nominated and BAFTA Scotland-winning work, and her films have screened at over 150 film festivals worldwide. Sarah has spent the most recent decade of her career working in distribution, launching and scaling streaming platforms. Sarah is now developing a slate of projects as a writer: bold, mainstream thrillers for a global audience, told at the intersection of personal and political stories and from a female perspective.
