Sabrina Ali

Sabrina Ali is the star and writer of the theatre sensation – DUGSI DAYZ. After dozens of incredible reviews sell-out runs in London and Edinburgh, the play transferred to the Royal Court last year. Sabrina’s performance has garnered impressive praise.

The play has recently been adapted for TV with the new title PROPER LADIES – with Sabrina in the starring role. You can now watch on BBC iPlayer.

Before DUGSI DAYZ, Ali had already established herself as a force to be reckoned with in the one-woman show MUNA KNOWS IT ALL, which premiered in 2021. This hilarious and energetic performance showcased Ali’s comedic talent and her knack for creating complex characters that command the stage.

Ali’s journey began in 2019 when she started working with the Side eYe Company. This collaboration proved fruitful, leading to her stage debut in the company’s play HOME. Throughout her career, Ali has consistently pushed boundaries and challenged stereotypes, writing roles that celebrate the richness and diversity of contemporary Britain.
