Rachel Shenton is an Academy Award® winning writer and producer and Co-Owner of the UK-based production company Slick Films. She won the Oscar® for The Silent Child, which she wrote and produced, and her work has screened at major international festivals including Clermont-Ferrand and Tribeca.
Through Slick Films, Rachel develops and produces narrative and documentary projects, working across short films, feature films and international co-productions. She also co-leads the Slick Films Fund, supporting emerging filmmakers and new voices in independent cinema.
Alongside her writing and producing work, Rachel is known to audiences for roles in White Gold, Switched at Birth and All Creatures Great & Small.
