Written with Benedikt Erlingsson. WOMAN AT WAR received its world premiere during the 57th Cannes Critics’ Week in 2018. Ólafur and Benedikt were awarded the Cannes Critics’ Week SACD Prize for Best Screenplay and and accepting the NDR Film Prize, the Baltic Film Prize for a Nordic fiction film, the Interfilm Church Prize, the audience award at Lübeck Nordic Film Days 2018, and the LUX Film Prize awarded by the European Parliament. The film received the prestigious Nordic Council Film Prize in 2018 and is Iceland’s nomination in the Foreign Language Category at Oscars 2019. WOMAN AT WAR was picked as one of Variety’s mid-year 15 Best Films of 2019
