We are delighted to announce that Laurie Brett has joined the cast of BBC One’s ‘Waterloo Road’.
Laurie, who left Eastenders in January after playing Jane Beale for 7 years, will be playing English teacher Christine Mulgrew in the 8th series of this award-winning BBC drama. Hailing from Scotland originally, Laurie is pleased to be returning to film in Scotland now that a new school – previously based in Rochdale – has been set up by ‘Waterloo Road’ headmaster Michael Byrne.
She starts shooting next month.
