Congratulations to Jane Casey and Alice Slater who have been shortlisted in the 2024 CrimeFest Awards. Slater’s debut, Death of a Bookseller, is up for the £1,000 Specsavers Debut Crime Novel of the Year and The Close, the tenth instalment in Casey’s bestselling Maeve Kerrigan series, is shortlisted for the E-Dunnit Award for best crime fiction e-book.
