Following its successful run at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe, Annie Davison’s BAIRNS continues its journey with a limited London engagement this summer at the Underbelly Boulevard Soho, for two performances only on 7 & 8 July 2026.
Annie was named an “emerging talent” by The Guardian when her debut play BAIRNS premiered at the Pleasance Courtyard during the Edinburgh Fringe 2025. A one-woman dramedy exploring themes of sisterhood, surrogacy and growing up, the play follows Lottie, a twenty-something navigating an unexpected and life-changing promise, in a show praised for its sharp humour and emotional honesty.
The Scotsman chose Annie as one of the Rising Stars of Edinburgh Fringe and called the play “bold, honest and deeply moving,” Annie is currently developing BAIRNS for TV with a prominent UK production company and is developing original ideas with several others.
