Michael Hines

TV Director

Biography

Michael is a BAFTA winning single and multi-camera director, highly experienced in network sitcom and scripted comedy, drama, commercials and children’s TV.  He also directs theatre, specialising in theatre for the arena.

He was awarded a Lifetime Achievement BAFTA in 2019 for directing all 62 episodes of Still Game.  The award-winning comedy remains the most watched non-sports programme in Scotland over the last decade.
