Max Tobin

Max Tobin is an award-winning writer/director and presenter from Birmingham. Having won the Royal Television Society’s inaugural ‘Young Filmmaker Award’ in 2021 for his short film ‘I Will Despise You’—Max now works as a writer/presenter for the BBC, where he is developing a long-form series. 

Interested in the liminal spaces between genres—Max’s work attempts to reflect the cultural zeitgeist of the UK through provocative and often transgressive stories.
