Biography
Maureen is a Hull born writer, a Sphinx30 playwright, and a BBC’s Voices 2024 writer. In 2020 her play Helen was shortlisted for the Theatre 503 International Playwriting prize. She is published by Nick Hern. Her full-length plays include, Mary & The Hyenas (Pilot Theatre & Hull Truck Theatre 2025), Baby He Loves You (Middle Child 2024), Dead Girls Rising (Silent Uproar 2024), Helen (Theatre 503 & Terrain Theatre, 2023), and Us Against Whatever, (Middle Child Theatre 2019). She is currently under commission to Mikron Theatre.
