Biography

Matthew is the co-creator and lead writer of MISSED CALL, a 5-part thriller set in the South of France starring Joanna Scanlan, Robert Lindsay and Rupert Graves that filmed summer 2025 for C5 & TF1.

He’s also reimagining a classic detective series for Company Pictures, and recently adapted a detective novel for Todd Berger / Buccaneer Media.

Since 2005 Matthew has written over forty hours of produced prime time drama for the BBC, ITV, Netflix, ZDF, Channel 5, Sky and Acorn TV including episodes of NEW TRICKS, THE LAST DETECTIVE, MARCELLA, AGATHA RAISIN, QUEENS OF MYSTERY plus serial killer movie THE CHAMELEON.
