Laura Southgate

Laura Southgate is from Wellington, New Zealand. She completed an MA in Creative Writing at Victoria University of Wellington in 2018 and won the 2018 Adam Prize from the International Institute of Modern Letters for THE BOYFRIEND, which is her first book.

THE BOYFRIEND is published by Victoria University Press in New Zealand, and the UK edition will be published by Fleet in paperback in June 2020. Listen to Laura Southgate discussing the novel here.
