Kent Riley

Kent Riley is an outstanding Liverpudlian actor, well known for his long running role as Zak Ramsey in Hollyoaks and he will next feature in the upcoming ITV crime drama ‘I Fought The Law’ as D.I Keith Arnold. He played the role of Andrew in BBC’s beloved Death in Paradise and Stan in ITV’s compelling drama The Walk-In with Stephen Graham. He’s also starred as DS Jack O’Neill in The Tower (ITV), the adaptation of the Kate London ‘must read’ books of the same name. Prior to that he could be seen as Ludo Merrick in Intergalactic (SKY), and all episodes of Brief Encounters (ITV) with Penelope Wilton. Other credits include Cilla (ITV), BAFTA-winning Happy Valley (BBC), Doctors (BBC) and Coronation Street (ITV). Across his role, Kent has performed in Geordie, Liverpudlian and London accents.

Kent most recently starred in the poignant socio-political dramas Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes (Disney+) and Mr Bates vs.The Post Office, both based on harrowing, landmark real events.

Kent will soon be seen in the independent feature, Blackbird, directed by Stephen Fletcher.
