Kat is a presenter, filmmaker and writer with a constant focus on unheard stories and voices. Having worked for BBC News and Current Affairs for five years she has covered a wide range of stories from gay women being refused cervical smears and disabled people being refused votes, to lighter pieces such as trying out snowboarding prosthetic feet. For the past year she has been one of the main reporters on BBC Click, focusing on technology and featured weekly on BBC One, BBC News and BBC World.

As a disabled presenter, having had her legs amputated at the age of 18, Kat is passionate about increasing diversity in the media. She now works also as a dance artist and plays sitting volleyball for GB.

Kat has been profiled by Refinery29, Bustle, Huffington Post, ITV News, the Metro, MailOnline and the Sun.
