Justina Kehinde

Justina Kehinde is a writer, director and award winning poet. As a writer she is currently developing television and film projects with B-Side Productions and the BBC. 

Her directorial debut Til Death Do Us Part (Theatre 503) won Best New Production at the 2022 London Pub Theatre Awards. She has served as associate director on Rebecca Frecknall’s production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Almeida) and Jeremy Herrin’s production of Long Day’s Journey Into Night (Wyndham’s Theatre). 

As a poet Justina has been commissioned by the UNFPA for an original piece on Harmful Traditional Practices and by the Icelandic Government for the inaugural, international conference on #METOO in Reykjavik where she opened for Prof. Angela Davis. 

A graduate of the University of Cambridge, she is an alumna of the Soho Writers Lab (2021-2022), Royal Court Writer’s Group (2019) and BBC London Voices (2020). She has professional proficiency in French.
