Jason and Joel have been writing together since they were spotty.

They are currently developing an original series, THEN, with Kudos Film & TV and adapting Judith Kerr's MOG for Sky. Recently, they were part of the writers' room on both PADDINGTON and PADDINGTON 2 for Heyday/StudioCanal and they wrote the 5-part series CUNK ON BRITAIN (House of Tomorrow/BBC), having previously written the 30' specials CUNK ON CHRISTMAS and CUNK ON SHAKEPSEARE, based on the character of Philomena Cunk who first appeared in Charlie Brooker's End of Year Wipe. Jason and Joel work extensively with Charlie and were part of the writing team behind critically lauded A TOUCH OF CLOTH (Sky1) and END OF YEAR WIPE (BBC). They also co-created musical sitcom THE MIDNIGHT BEAST for E4 and are the creators and writers of the phenomenally succesful LADYBIRD BOOKS FOR GROWN-UPS, which have sold more than 4 million copies.

Television has also used their words in MURDER IN SUCCESSVILLE (BBC3), BACK (Channel 4), THE ANGELOS EPITHEMIOU SHOW  (Channel 4), IT'S KEVIN AND MIRANDA (BBC2; British Comedy Award, Best New Comedy; RTS Award, Best Scripted Comedy), THAT MITCHELL AND WEBB LOOK (BBC2; BAFTA, Best Comedy Programme), SCREENWIPE (BBC4), FIT (CBBC), IT'S KEVIN ELDON (BBC2), THE ARMSTRONG AND MILLER SHOW (BBC1; BAFTA, Best Comedy Programme), MR BLOOM'S NURSERY (CBeebies; RTS North West Award, Best Children's Programme), STRANGE HILL HIGH (CBBC), TOONED (McLaren/Framestore), TEN O'CLOCK LIVE (Channel 4), ALAN CARR'S SPECTACULARS (Channel 4), THE ONES (BBC1), CHARLIE BROOKER'S HOW TV RUINED YOUR LIFE (BBC2), PAUL O'GRADY LIVE (ITV1), SORRY, I'VE GOT NO HEAD (CBBC), THE IMPRESSIONS SHOW (BBC1),  THE PETER SERAFINOWICZ SHOW (BBC2), MIRANDA HART'S UNWRAPPED (BBC2), THE OMID DJALILI SHOW (BBC1), MANSTROKEWOMAN (BBCThree), FUR TV (MTV), 8 OUT OF 10 CATS (Channel 4), and THE IMPRESSIONABLE JON CULSHAW (ITV1).

Radio work includes ANGSTROM (BBC Radio 4), AGENDUM (BBC Radio 4), ARE YOU ALRIGHT IN THERE? (BBC Radio 4) KEVIN ELDON WILL SEE YOU NOW (BBC Radio 4), SO WRONG IT'S RIGHT (BBC Radio 4), THE SECRET WORLD (BBC Radio 4), DILEMMA (BBC Radio 4), THE JASON BYRNE SHOW (BBC Radio 2; Sony Gold Award), LISTEN AGAINST (BBC Radio 4), THAT MITCHELL AND WEBB SOUND (BBC Radio 4; Sony Bronze Award), THE ODD HALF HOUR (BBC Radio 4), THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED (BBC Radio 2) and the award-winning THE FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS (BBC Radio 2). They have script edited ALICE'S WUNDERLAND  (BBC Radio 4), SARA PASCOE'S SYLLABUS (BBC Radio 4) and two series of RECORDED FOR TRAINING PURPOSES, BBC Radio 4’s showcase for new writers.

They are the co-authors of THE FRAMLEY EXAMINER  http://www.framley.com/"  the much-loved pretend local newspaper, and its Penguin Books incarnations, which now grace the lavatories of the great and the humble.

They also co-authored a pair of guides to Britain's more peculiar tourist attractions, BOLLOCKS TO ALTON TOWERS (Sunday Times number 1 best-selling travel book of the year) and FAR FROM THE SODDING CROWD (‘one of the best guide books ever written’ -The Guardian), both published by Penguin, and are sorry if they unconsciously encouraged that table of sweary titles in the humour section.

Their words have filled valuable unclaimed advertising space in The Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Observer, The Guardian, The Independent, Mojo, Esquire, Jack and The Idler. They are regular contributors to potty-mouthed national treasure Viz.

They divide their time between London and the pub.
