Biography
Joe Dowling is the Artistic Director of the Guthrie Theatre, Minneapolis, a position he has held since 1995. Before coming to the Gurthrie, Dowling had been Artistic Director of the Abbey Theatre, Ireland's National Theatre, Managing Director of the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin, and founder and director of the Gaiety School of Acting, Dublin.
