Biography
James Baxter is an outstanding British actor across stage and screen, with a number of eclectic credits behind him.
James currently stars in the recurring role of Joe Casey in the reboot of Waterloo Road (BBC). He also recently starred as Young Vesemir in The Witcher S2 (Netflix), alongside Henry Cavill, and as a regular in Alma’s Not Normal (Expectation Entertainment). Further TV credits include; Wolfe (Sky), Still Open All Hours (BBC) – appearing in 41 episodes – Red Dwarf (BBC) and The Royal (ITV).
An accomplished stage performer, James has starred in productions such as The Sweet Science Of Bruising (Southwark Playhouse), 24 Hour Plays (Old Vic), Silk Road (Edinburgh Fringe) and Scarborough (Royal Court/Edinburgh Fringe).
Currently, James is filming Channel 5’s adaptation of Graham Norton’s novel, Forever Home.
