Helen Howe is married with three children and lives in a north east Derbyshire village. She has worked as a graphic designer, youth worker and musician. She studied English Language and Creative Writing with the Open University and has previously written articles, short stories and poetry for magazines. Her first YA novel, ZIGGY, is currently out on submission in the UK. It is a gripping story based on numerous cases of teenage girls being sexually exploited all over the country and can be compared with the very best in the genre such as JUNK by Melvin Burgess, or BEING BILLY by Phil Earle.
