Biography

Hannah was nominated for an Offie for ‘Best Newcomer’ for her performance in SOME DEMON. This was her stage debut. 

She most recently played the role of Wendy in the RSC’s WENDY & PETER PAN at The Barbican and prior to this she was Abigail Williams in THE CRUCIBLE at the Globe, receiving critical acclaim for her performance.

Saxby, who only graduated last year from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, is an agitated, animated presence, going from wide-eyed innocence, to petulance, to seductiveness in seconds. This is no game for her, but a fight for survival – underscored by her declaration that “I saw Indians smash my dear parents’ heads on the pillow next to mine”.”
