Hanna van Vliet is one of the winners of the European Shooting Stars 2022. She is also a Golden Calf nominated actress and creator, she graduated in Drama and Contemporary Music Theatre at the Amsterdam University of the Arts in 2014. She plays the lead in the internationally acclaimed drama series ANNE+, that she also co-created. Hanna was nominated for a Golden Calf for “Best Actress in a drama series” (ANNE+) at the Netherlands Film Festival in 2020, and was nominated for a Musical Award twice (for Fiddler on the Roof and De Tweeling). ANNE+ has been nominated twice for the Prix Europe (2019, 2020). Hanna is an advocate for a broad representation of female leads and queer characters in the (Dutch) film and TV landscape.
