Ebele is a London born writer producer director, and recent graduate from the prestigious Directing Fiction MA at the National Film and Television School and an NYU TISCH School of the Arts alumni where she studied filmmaking. Ebele was also a recipient of the coveted London Calling award, whereby she wrote and directed a short film entitled COCOA, which went on to be a finalist at the FujiFilm Shorts competition and screened at BAFTA. 

Additionally, for the past ten years she has forged a successful career producing commercials in the advertising industry for clients such as, Vogue, Google, Three Mobile and Huawei.

Ebele is currently completing post-production for her NFTS grad film ‘The Visit’ and developing a slate of film and TV projects. As a working-class woman from Nigerian and English decent, she is interested in the intersection of gender class, race and culture and is dedicated to creating work which challenges the status quo from an authentic perspective.

The Visit is a coming-of-age magical realism drama which explores motherhood and finding ones sense of home. When eighteen year old Nneka [Grace Saif - 13 Reasons Why] ventures to Scotland to reconnect with her estranged Nigerian-born mother Ansa [Jacqueline Boatswain - Fantastics Beasts 3], the fantasy of who her mother is is shattered when confronted by the reality Ansa is living in extreme poverty and battling mental health issues.
