Biography

Dominique Moloney is Series Creator of “WPC 56”, an original drama for BBC1 about a policewoman in the 1950’s. It ran for three series and was nominated for seven RTS Midlands Awards. She has also written episodes of the award-winning “Land Girls”, “Father Brown”, “Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators” and “The Sister Boniface Mysteries”. She was part of the core writing team at “Casualty” for two years, during which time the show was nominated (2017) and won (2018) at BAFTA for Best Soap and Continuing Drama. Other work includes “EastEnders”, over forty episodes of “Doctors”, and several radio plays for BBC Radio 4. Dominique was the winner of the Tony Doyle New Writer’s Bursary for BBC Northern Ireland in 2003, and was selected for BAFTA Elevate 2018.

Dominique was Series Creator and lead writer of “Murder Most Puzzling”, which aired on Channel 5, in June 2025.
