Dom Coyote EMT is an award-winning composer, theatre maker and voice coach.  He creates performance projects and writes music for theatre and film.  His work centres around voice, story and eclectic music making, encompassing cinematic electronica to purely analogue songwriting.  He was recently Music Director of the National Theatre’s touring production of War Horse and singing coach for the West End production of Othello, directed by Tom Morris.

Dom cut his teeth as a musician and actor with internationally acclaimed theatre company Kneehigh. Joining the company in his early twenties, Dom was inspired by their anarchic spirit and electrifying musical world. His eclectic passion for electronica, acoustic and vocal music, along with his innate fascination with story has led him to international collaborations from South Africa to Berlin and create scores across distinct art forms and genres.

Dom is Artistic Director of Bristol Performance company OTIC.  Their latest show The Colour of Dinosaurs is a recipient of the Unlimited Award.  The show played a sold out run at Bristol Old Vic in 2023 before transferring to the Polka Theatre and another sell out run at the Southbank Centre in 2025.

Dom’s passion for voice and people also led him to train as an Estill Master Trainer.  This takes him to many different environments, from coaching artists from stage and screen, working with premier league football clubs, spoken word artists, songwriters and actors and lecturing at major universities and drama schools.

In 2024 Dom was invited to become singing coach for the National Theatre production of London Tide, working with one of his all-time musical heroes, the great PJ Harvey.
