Michelle’s extensive TV credits include a regular role in two series of Netflix’s TOP BOY, Apple’s THE ESSEX SERPENT, Sky Atlantic THIS ENGLAND, ITV’s THE SUSPECT and NOUGHTS & CROSSES on BBC One.
Michelle starred as Josephine in the New Diorama Theatre’s production of BRENDA’S GOT A BABY. Michelle has a had a consistent theatre career receiving rave reviews for her outing in the play OUR LADY OF KIBEHO at Theatre Royal Stratford East. The play received five stars from The Guardian. Other theatre accolades include NOTES ON GRIEF at Manchester International Festival, and she played the role of ‘Cassandra’ in VANYA & SONIA & MASHA & SPIKE at Theatre Royal Bath.
She was nominated for a Broadway World Award for SUNSET BABY, as Best Featured Actress in a Play, and also for a Black Entertainment Film Fashion & Television Award (BEFFTA) for Best Actress in a Television Show, for MONROE. She has also received a special mention in the Emerging Talent Category of the Screen Nation Awards.
