Amy and Beth were the showrunners for three series of their original New Zealand based thriller, MYSTIC (Slim TV and Film / Libertine / CBBC / NZ Online). Currently they are writing series two ofPATIENCE for Eagle Eye / Channel 4 and developing a drama series, LAIRD, with Quay Street Productions. They recently wrote 26 episodes ofPIRI PENGUINSfor Eagle Eye which will go out on the BBC later this year, and together they created and wrote original primetime comedy series, PAT AND CABBAGE, (Red Productions / ITV).
In the US, their comedy pilot,SINGLE MAN SEEKS BABY, was commissioned by Bad Wolf, ABC studios and ABC network. They have also been developingANGRY BIRD, a comedy series, with CBS studios and Bad Wolf.
Other TV credits include:HORRIBLE HISTORIES(Lion TV, CBBC),THREESOME(Big Talk / Comedy Central), the animation series,KUUKUU HARAJUKU(Moody Street Kids / Vision Animation / Red Flags Fly) and they were also script associates onMY FAMILY(DLT/ BBC).
Amy has written episodes for several series ofTROLLIED(Roughcut TV / Sky) andMY FAMILY. Her play,BURNING BRIDGES, premiered at Theatre 503 and was nominated for three Offies including Best New Play.
