Clare Docherty

Clare Docherty is a lawyer by background, and worked as a litigator in London for several years before re-training as a secondary English teacher. She is a recent graduate of the Faber Academy novel writing course and she lives just outside London with her husband and three small children.

Clare’s debut novel, Other Halves, was snapped up by Hutchinson Heinemann in the UK, and in twelve further territories to date, and will be published in spring 2028 as a lead title.
