Claire Moorsom

Claire is a screenwriter based in London. She rewrote a 4-part LA-set contemporary crime TV series for Sigma, Anonymous Content and Sonar Entertainment.

Before concentrating on screenwriting, Claire worked as a script development professional and producer for twenty years. 

Since 2013, she has worked closely with the award-winning team at Sigma Films. She has been involved on a diverse slate of projects with producers Gillian Berrie and Brian Coffey, and director David Mackenzie, including on projects for Netflix, Creative Scotland, BBC, Film 4, and eOne. Claire was closely involved in developing, amongst other projects, David Mackenzie’s historical epic OUTLAW KING; Olaf de Fleur Johannesson’s supernatural MALEVOLENT; as well as the upcoming buzz film, Ninian Doff’s BOYZ IN THE WOOD. Claire was also co-producer of the supernatural horror film DON’T KNOCK TWICE.
