Catriona Dickie CDG cast the hit feature, CATHERINE CALLED BIRDY, for Amazon Prime – which garnered rave reviews. For her work on the film, Catriona won the “Outstanding Achievement in Casting – Studio or Independent Feature – Comedy” award at the prestigious Casting Society of America (ARTIOS) Awards.
Catriona cut her teeth as a Casting Associate for Nina Gold and Robert Sterne – working on projects such as the gripping BBC One series, THE RESPONDER, and the tense legal drama feature – THE MAURITANIAN. Before that, she worked as a Casting Associate for Rachel Freck, casting the beloved Apple TV+ series, TRYING, among other prestige comedy series.
Further recent work as a casting director includes feature film, THE PERFECT ESCAPE, as well as short films SURPRI!, and VILLAIN.
In addition to her casting work, Catriona has helped mentor under-represented young people in the UK who have an interest in the Film and TV industry via the award winning charity ‘Arts Emergency’.
Catriona is an associate member of the CSA and probationary member of the CDG.
