Biography
Bert Seymour is a LAMDA-trained actor and linguist.
His recent TV work includes: Bridgerton (Netflix), Masters of The Air (Apple TV+), The Crown (Netflix), Say Nothing (FX), The Diplomat (Sky), The Girl Before (BBC), Endeavour (ITV), and Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes (Disney+).
He will soon appear in Mike Newell’s latest feature film THE BITTER END, the French feature LES PARFAITS (Dir. Ludovic Bernard), as well as the independent feature RED FLAGS (Dir. Bradley Porter.)
On stage Bert will soon play ‘Richard Burbage’ in the RSC’s Hamnet (Dir. Erica Whyman.) He also recently played ‘Caesar’ in Anthony & Cleopatra (Dir. Blanche McIntyre) at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, ‘Andrew Carter’ in Pressure (Dir. John Dove) in the West End, and Bertie Wooster in Perfect Nonsense (Dir. Patrick Marlowe.)
Bert speaks fluent French & Italian, high level Mandarin, and signs Level 3 BSL. He also performs regular Improvised comedy, occasional stand-up, and sings in a folk/shanty band.
