Biography

Ben Cajee is an experienced television and radio presentervoiceover artistwriter and event host.

He has been a main presenter with BBC Children’s since 2015 – fronting coverage in the CBeebies House and in CBBC HQ. He has gone on to present Blue Peter, Something SpecialBitesize DailyLive Lessons, and Match of the Day Kickabout.

With BBC Sport, Ben is a regular on Match of the Day, presenting their community features. He has also appeared on Football Focus and coverage of The Hundred. He has voiced Wimbledon Extra 2021-25, both the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Beijing and Italian Winter Olympics in 2022 and 2026 and the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022.

Having previously worked for the International Cricket Council, Ben has great cricket knowledge and led as an ambassador for the ECB’s All Stars Cricket initiative. He was a lead presenter and stadium host for games at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and at The Hundred for Oval Invincibles in 2024.

Ben previously hosted the Saturday Breakfast Show for BBC Radio Stoke and has voiced the BBC’s Playtime Island App, BBC showreels for major awards such as BAFTA and trailers broadcast on BBC One. He also voices Uncle Tyrell in JoJo & Gran Gran and has appeared as a contestant on Celebrity Mastermind, answering questions about his beloved West Ham United.

Ben has performed in six CBeebies Christmas Shows, including playing the lead in Dick Whittington in 2022. He played Aladdin at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre during their 2022/23 pantomime season and the lead in Jack and the Beanstalk at Venue Cymru during their 2024/25 season.

Ben hosts live events, campaigns, press conferences, openings and festivals for various charities and corporates. Examples include the Premier League, the ECB, England Hockey, Red Bull, British Champions Day at Ascot, 500 Words, Tiny Happy People, Show Racism the Red Card, Stephen Lawrence Day, Alton Towers, The Children’s Media Conference, Waterstones, Penguin and Shakespeare Week.

He regularly writes opinion pieces for The Independent, and his television writing credits include Justin’s House and Dodge’s Pup School. He has also written CBeebies House links that have led to viral content and conversations around inclusivity and equality in national print publications and on television, including BBC Breakfast, 5 Live and Times Radio. His first children’s picture book was published with Puffin in 2026.
