After graduating in Fine Art from Brighton, Becky worked for many years as a freelance textile designer with clients that included Dior, Tommy Hilfiger, Liberty, Marks and Spencer, Gap and Du Pareil au Meme.

In 2011 she started her own business, Becky Baur, illustrating cards, cushions, ceramics and prints and has sold her products worldwide to shops and galleries that include, Centre Pompidou, ABC Home, Paperchase and Selfridges. She has also collaborated with other companies such as Noodoll and Make International, The Museum of Childhood and The House of Illustration.

Most recently, Becky has been working as an illustrator for children's books. Her work has been published by Thames and Hudson and Simon and Schuster in the UK and by Casterman in France. Titles include Dotty's First Book (Thames and Hudson) Miss Bunny's Shapes and Mr Monkey's Numbers (Simon and Schuster)

Over the years Becky has developed a unique and distinctive style. Her hand drawn designs reflect influences from her early training in Fine Art, a career in textiles and nostalgic motifs inspired by her European roots.
