One Ted Falls Out of Bed (2004)
Count up to ten and back down again in this perfect bedtime read-aloud. Poor Ted has fallen out of bed, only for three mischievous mice to whisk him off on a breathtaking adventure. They zoom around in fast cars, have tea with kind dolls, go on a balloon ride and climb a building-block mountain. It’s all very exciting, but will Ted ever get back to his bed?
One Ted Falls Out of Bed‘s counting theme is woven perfectly into a magical, rhythmic text by former Children’s Laureate, Julia Donaldson, and features gorgeous illustrations from Anna Currey.

Rosie’s Hat isn’t just any old hat. When a gust of wind sweeps it off her head, it goes off on a whole hatful of adventures!
It becomes a toy for a dog, a hiding-place for a mouse, a frisbee for some children and even a nest for some birds. Surely poor Rosie will never find her hat again . . . or will she?
This satisfyingly circular tale from Julia Donaldson, the author of The Gruffalo, is packed with irresistible sound effects, making it perfect for children to join in with – and Anna Currey’s beautiful watercolour illustrations perfectly capture the warmth and fun of the story.
A heart-warming story, set in the days leading up to Christmas, about one little girl’s magical encounter with a unicorn.
Christmas is just days away. A little girl called Milly and her Mum are staying at Grandpa’s house. Dad has been kept away but will join them just as soon as he can. But Milly feels a little forlorn, away from her friends and without her Dad. And then something wonderful happens. Milly meets Florian, a unicorn. One snowy night, he patters into Grandpa’s house and transforms Milly’s Christmas, filling it with friendship, surprise and sparkle. And somehow, Florian makes all Milly’s wishes come true. Anna Currey has crafted a beautifully written and sensitively illustrated picture book that will delight every generation as families come together at Christmas.
This celebration of new life will allow for tender bedtime cuddles everywhere as the book relishes the shared family pleasure of a newborn baby. This perfect first board book will encourage children to either think about their own arrival into the world or prepare them for the arrival of a sibling, as the words and pictures combine to create a world at peace with itself.
