Biography

Andy is currently director and executive producer on upcoming 1980s Cold War spy thriller BIRDWATCHER starring Wyatt Russell for Apple TV+/Legendary Entertainment. The show is a spinoff from MONARCH: LEGACY OF MONSTERS on which Andy helmed the S1 finale block as EP director.
His directing credits in television include DOWNTON ABBEYCARNIVAL ROW, ITV thriller THE LEVELALTERED CARBON for Skydance and DAREDEVIL, LUKE CAGE and THE PUNISHER for Marvel/Netflix.
A breakout into features came in 2014 with the award-winning SET FIRE TO THE STARS which Andy co-wrote and directed. The film was nominated for the Michael Powell Award for Best British Feature and won two of its seven nominations at the 2015 BAFTA Cymru Awards. The Patricia Highsmith adaptation A KIND OF MURDER followed starring Patrick Wilson and Jessica Biel. Andy’s third feature was WWII thriller SIX MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT for Sky Cinema starring Judi Dench.
Andy is currently in development with Red Planet Pictures on his scripted six-part TV thriller EDGELANDS. He is represented in the US by Abram Nalibotsky at Gersh and entertainment attorney Michael Schenkman.
