Abigail Abbas

Abigail Abbas was born in London and grew up between rural Sussex and Brighton. She studied English literature and language at King’s College London and began her career in financial PR. Her writing has appeared in the Financial Times and The i Paper. She later wrote about motherhood and domestic life on her illustrated blog, Bovary, which gained a loyal following. Her drawings led to professional commissions and a place in the MA Illustration program at Camberwell College of Arts. Abigail lives in London with her husband and two children. The Driving Seat (UK, Birlinn) / The Driver’s Seat (US, Holt) is her first novel.
