Tom Edge is a twice BAFTA-nominated writer working in TV and film. He is creator and exec producer of the acclaimed Netflix original comedy LOVESICK (previously known as ‘Scrotal Recall’); the third season airs November 2017. Other recent work includes the adaptation of Jasper Fforde’s fantasy novel, THE LAST DRAGONSLAYER for Sky One. Airing as its Christmas Day family film, it scored their best Xmas ratings in seven years. Tom has worked on both seasons one and two of Netflix’s epic drama THE CROWN, and has adapted the books ‘The Silkworm’ and ‘Career of Evil’ by Robert Galbraith (AKA JK Rowling) for the forthcoming STRIKE series (BBC One, Cinemax).

He is developing a diverse range of dramas with the UK’s leading production companies, including an adaptation of the Clive Stafford-Smith non-fiction book INJUSTICE (Drama Republic for Channel 4); a Wall St. drama CAPITAL with Michael Fassbender attached (Raw, for Channel 4); CIRCUS for Carnival; a miniseries about CARAVAGGIO with Stephen Daldry directing (Archery); an adaptation of the classic John Fowles novel THE MAGUS (Neal Street); and an adaption of the forthcoming Jess Kidd novel THE HOARDER (Scott Free). In addition to these he has adapted the first book in Len Deighton’s SAMSON series (Clerkenwell Films) and the non-fiction PRAIRIE FEVER (Left Bank / Sony).

Tom’s current film projects include the true story of Britain’s first sumo team, THREE BIG MEN (Origin Pictures / BFI); a Judy Garland biopic THE END OF THE RAINBOW based on the hit play (Calamity / Pathe); a political comedy-drama ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL (Left Bank / BBC Films), and A BOY CALLED ALEX (DNA / Film4) based on the documentary about a schoolboy with CF who conducts Bach’s ‘Magnificat’.
