As a child Tiphanie often got told off for day-dreaming at school. But then she realised that as an illustrator she could day-dream, draw, paint and put imaginary worlds onto paper which seemed the perfect career, so that's what she did. Tiphanie graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1995 with an MA in design and communication and has been working making pictures ever since.
Having grown up in Norfolk Tiphanie is now living in France with her husband and three children near a town called Grasse. She enjoys painting traditionally using watercolour, acrylic, gouache and anything else that she can mix and brush onto paper. Tiphanie has worked for publishers in the U.K and in the U.S and her books have been translated internationally. Inventing characters is one of her favourite things to do and some of these can be seen on stationery in Japan. Her other favourite things are perfume, dogs, the blue sky and snow.
