Sarah’s film, I AM ELIZABETH SMART, an A & E/ Lifetime production about 14 year old Elizabeth Smart's abduction in 2002, has recently been nominated for a Critics’ Choice Award, as has its lead actress, Alana Boden.

Sarah’s critically acclaimed BBC drama THE CRASH was also nominated by BAFTA Scotland for Best Television Drama and won four star reviews (Time Out, The Mail), 'Choice Pick' (The Guardian, The Independent, The Sunday Times).

C4’s quirky relationship drama DATES garnered glowing reviews from The Times - 'This superb series of short dramas gets better and better… If drama is a concentrate of life, these brilliant short plays are a concentrate of drama'.

Sarah began her career as an independent filmmaker; she was nominated three years in a row by Broadcast Magazine for the 'Best Young Writer' and 'Best Young Director' categories respectively for her short films 420 SECONDS OF LOVE, ALMOST STRANGERS and SOUL BOY.

Sarah has an RTS Award, a C4 Creative Class Award and was hailed as one of Shooting People’s 'Top UK Filmmakers'. Her early TV work includes showrunning BBC teen drama THE CUT (Series Director/Creative Producer) and writing and directing an original storyline for HOLLYOAKS which achieved worldwide viral success via social media.

Sarah was named a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit in October 2014 and is one of the 15 female directors chosen this year for BAFTA Elevate.

She is co-represented by Melissa Myers for TV and Rich Cook for Film at WME in the USA.
