Cath studied Directing at the NFTS. Her short films won a number of awards and screened at key festivals including Edinburgh, Berlinale and Cannes. She won the Sundance Alfred P Sloan Development Award to develop fiction feature BED and in 2017 was awarded the inaugural Open Call Award from The Space to develop interactive artwork and documentary ADRIFT. She is a fellow of the MacDowell Colony and Rockefeller Bellagio Artist Residencies and is a co-founder of Shooting People, the online filmmakers network of 45,000 filmmakers. She currently sits on the board of Directors UK.
