UA clients shortlisted for Costa Book Awards

Congratulations to UA clients Marion Coutts and Kate Saunders whose books THE ICEBERG and FIVE CHILDREN ON THE WESTERN FRONT, have been shortlisted for the 2014 Costa Book Awards. The judges have called Coutt's memoir, shortlisted in the Biography category,  "an unflinching, unforgettable memoir written with honesty, an absence of sentimentality and in utterly original language."  Saunders's war-time story for children, published by Faber & Faber was dubbed "A beautifully-written exploration of the power of love in the face of the horrors of war. Elegant, funny and profoundly moving.” 

The winners in each of the five categories will be announced on Monday 5th January 2015, and will each receive £5,000. The overall winner of the Costa Book of the Year 2014 will receive £30,000 and will be selected and announced at a ceremony in London on 27th Januray 2015.
