YOUNG MARX to open the Bridge Theatre's first season

Young Marx, a new comedy by Richard Bean and Clive Coleman, directed by Nicholas Hytner, will open the Bridge Theatre's first season. The brand new riverside theatre venue was commissioned by the London Theatre Company co-founders Nick Starr and Nicholas Hytner, after stepping down as Executive and Artistic Directors of the National Theatre. Balancing Act, Nicholas' memoirs of his tenure at the National, will be published in April.

Upcoming productions announced at the Bridge Theatre include Julius Ceasar directed by Nicholas Hytner, starring Ben Whishaw and David Morrisey; Flatpack, a new play by John Hodge; and an as yet untitled new play by Nina Raine about J.S. Bach.

Tickets for Young Marx are on general sale from the 27th April.
