Richard Gadd Wins Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards

Huge congratulations to Richard Gadd on winning the 2016 Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show with the amazing MONKEY SEE, MONKEY DO. Nica Burns, director of the lastminute.com Edinburgh Comedy Awards, said, "Richard Gadd's highly original, extraordinary show combines hilarity and heart." The show is described as a "deeply intense and personal exploration of masculinity and anxiety". MONKEY SEE, MONKEY DO will have a run at the Soho Theatre from the 18th October until the 12th November. Congratulations also to Kieran Hodgson, whose show MAESTRO was nominated for the Comedy Award for Best Show, and to Brennan Reece, whose show was nominated for the Best Newcomer Award. MAESTRO focuses on Kieran's romantic history and his love of Mahler. Brennan Reece's EVERGLOW is an autobiographical whirlwind about growing up and becoming a man. All three shows will have London runs, details TBC.
