THE LUMINARIES Set for the Small Screen

Eleanor Catton's Man Booker prize-winning novel, THE LUMINARIES, is to adapted by the author for the small screen. Set in 1866, the story follows prospector Walter Moody who travels to New Zealand try to make his fortune in the goldrush. Instead, he finds himself embroiled in a complex mystery involving a number of unsolved crimes.

Working Title TV will produce the series for BBC2 and it will go into production in 2017.
