London Film Critics’ Circle nominees 2018

The London Film Critics’ Circle announced the nominees for their annual awards this morning and we are thrilled to have several clients nominated.

Nominated for Film of the Year are both Dunkirk, starring Tom Hardy and Lee Armstrong, and God’s Own Country, with costume design by Sian Jenkins and cinematography by Joshua James Richards, with Joshua nominated for the Technical Achievement of the Year Award for his work on the film. 

Dunkirk, God’s Own Country, Paddington 2, starring Sanjeev Bhaskar, Jamie Demetriou, Peter Capaldi, Joel Fry and Maggie Steed, and Lady Macbeth, written by Alice Birch and directed by William Oldroyd, are all nominated for British/Irish Film of the Year; Alice Birch and William Oldroyd are both nominated for Breakthrough British/Irish Filmmaker of the Year for their work on the latter

Finally, Kate Winslet will also be presented with the group’s highest career-achievement honour, the Dilys Powell Award.

The winners will be announced at the Circle’s awards ceremony in London on January 28th 2018.
