The Last Post

Peter Moffat's The Last Post, starring Jessie Buckley and Essie Davis airs on BBC1, Sunday 1st October at 9 pm. The series features Editor Jamie Pearson (eps 1-3) and Tony Slater Ling BSC and David Luther as DOPs.

The Last Post is based on Peter's childhood memories, his father's career as an officer in the Royal Military Police and his mother's struggle between being what the army required her to be and what she felt like being. It's a close-up view of army life set in the heat, glamour and extreme danger of Aden in the 1960s.
