Evening Standard British Film Awards – The shortlist

The shortlist for the London Evening Standard British Film Awards has been revealed, and it features a whole host of United Agents talent!

Ricky Gervais’s DAVID BRENT: LIFE ON THE ROAD has been nominated for the Peter Sellers Award for Comedy. Starring Ricky Gervais and Ben Bailey Smith, and produced by Charlie Hanson, it also featured the talents of Editor Gary Dollner ACE and Hair & Makeup Design by Claire Whiteley.

BRIDGET JONES’S BABY, co-written by Dan Mazer has been nominated for the Everyman Award for Best Film and the Peter Sellers Award for Comedy. The film also features Ashley McGuire and Steven Noble was the Costume Designer with Jan Sewell as Hair & Makeup Designer. 

Also nominated in the Everyman Award for Best Film is I, DANIEL BLAKE starring Hayley Squires, who also gains a nod for Best Supporting Actress respectively. 

Lewis MacDougall is up for the Malone Souliers Award for Breakthrough of the Year for his role in A MONSTER CALLS, as well as Director William Oldroyd for LADY MACBETH. 

Tom Bennett is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for LOVE & FRIENDSHIPDan Skinner starred in NOTES ON BLINDNESS, which is up for Best Documentary.
