EIFF begins

The Edinburgh International Film Festival is now underway, and UA are delighted to have had clients involved in many of the films being screened this year.

Screening in the Best of British strand are: Calibre (World Premiere), starring Ian Pirie and Kate Bracken; Dirt Road to Lafayette (World Premiere), directed by Kenny Glanaan and with cinematography by Tony Slater Ling BSCEaten by Lions (World Premiere), directed by Jason Wingard, written by Jason Wingard and David Isaac and starring Tom Binns and Nitin Ganatra; In Darkness (European Premiere), starring and produced by Natalie Dormer, with cinematography by Si Bell, production design by Sonja Klaus and music by Niall Byrne; Lucid (World Premiere), starring Sadie Frost and Sophie Kennedy Clark; Mary Shelley (UK Premiere), on which Sandra Frieze worked as Dialogue Coach for Elle Fanning; Obey (UK Premiere), starring Sophie Kennedy Clark and Sam Gittins; Old Boys (World Premiere), starring Jonah Hauer-King and Denis Menochet; Song Bird (World Premiere), with cinematography by Bet RourichSteel Country (Wold Premiere), with cinematography by Marcel Zyskind, editing by Chris Dickens ACE and starring Andrew ScottTwo for Joy (World Premiere), produced by Sadie Frost and starring Sophie Kennedy Clark; and Wild Honey Pie! (European Premiere), with cinematography by Bet Rourich

Included in the American Dreams strand are: Terminal (UK Premiere), with hair & make-up design by Sallie Jaye; and Unicorn Store (Euopean Premiere), with costume design by Mirren Gordon-Crozier.

Whitney, directed by Kevin Macdonald, receives its UK Premiere after receiving fantastic reviews at this year's Cannes Film Festival. 

Screening in this year's Night Moves strand are: Anna and the Apocalypse (UK Premiere), with cinematography by Sara Deane; Possum (World Premiere), with production design by Charlotte Pearson and costume design by Natalie Ward; and White Chamber (UK Premiere), starring Shauna Macdonald and Sharon Maughan

And this year's Closing Night Gala is Swimming with Men (UK Premiere), with cinematography by David Raedeker, starring Rob Brydon and Rupert Graves.
