Edinburgh TV Festival Nominations 2018

The Edinburgh TV Festival revealed the nominations for this years’ awards ceremony, and we are thrilled to announce that the list features a wealth of nominations for UA Clients.

BEST UK DRAMA

Murdered for Being Different with Christopher Coghill, Edited by Johnny Rayner, with Costume Design by Nigel Egerton, Hair and Make-up design by Jenna Wrage and Production Design by James Lapsley.

Three Girls with Production Design by Melanie Allen and stars Jackie Clune, Peter Singh and Maggie Service

Save Me starring Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness, Alan Mckenna, Joel Gillman, with Costume Design by Sam Perry, Hair and Make-up Design by Kate Benton, Production Design by Melanie Allen and Casting by Jill Trevellick.

The End of the F***** World - edited by Mike Jones

Line of Duty with Christopher Coghill, Patrick Baladi,  Jason Watkins and Edited by Andrew McClelland, Music by Carly Paradis and Director of Photography (Eps 1-3) Anna Valdez Hanks, 

Peaky Blinders, written and created by Steven Knight and stars Tom Hardy and Harry Kirton.

BEST INTERNATIONAL DRAMA SERIES

The Crown, Left Bank Pictures - with Philip Martin directing the opening episodes and starring Daniel Ings, Martin Marquez, Lizzy McInnerny and James Garnon, with episode two edited by Celia Haining.

Game of Thrones starring Kit Harington, Richard Dormer, Valene Kane and David Bradley.  

Tin Star starring Genevieve O'Reilly, with Episodes 7 and 10 directed by Gilles Bannier, Episode 9 directed by Craig Viveiros.  Episode 6 was written by Richard Zajdlic, Selina MacArthur edited episodes 6 and 8 and Director of Photography Paul Sarossy ASC BSC CSC shot episodes 2,4,6,8 and 9.

BEST BREAKTHROUGH TALENT

Daniel Lawrence Taylor’s is up for his series Timewasters.

BEST COMEDY SERIES

This Country with Ashley McGuire

Derry Girls created and written by Lisa McGee, directed by Michael Lennox, co-edited by Joe Randall-Cutler, and stars Claire Rafferty and Michael Shea.

Inside No.9 edited by Joe Randall-Cutler, with John Sorapure as Director of Photography on two episodses.
