David Storey: Readings and Remembrances at the National Theatre

Join the National Theatre at 11:30am on Saturday 12th of May for a celebration of the life and works of David Storey.

David passed away in March 2017 at the age of 83. An accomplished novelist and playwright, he sprang to prominence with his first novel, This Sporting Life, in 1960. He then went on to have a long-running association with the Royal Court, where he staged works including In Celebration, The Farm and Life Class. However for his last three plays, Early Days, The March on Russia and Stages, he found a new home at the National Theatre.

The event will give the chance to hear readings from the three plays staged at the National and explore NT Archive material connected with the productions.
