Critics' Choice Awards 2017 Nominations Announced

The nominations for the Critics' Choice Awards have been announced, with UA clients receiving multiple nominations.

Nominated for Best Picture are; The Big Sick starring Anupam Kher, Darkest Hour with Samuel West and Dunkirk, starring Tom Hardy and Lee Armstrong. Dunkirk is also nominated for Best Acting Ensemble and Best Visual Effects.

Paul Machliss ACE and Jonathan Amos ACE both gain a nomination for Best Editing, for their fantastic work on Baby Driver, produced by Nira Park.

Johnny Flynn is nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Movie Made for TV or Limited Series for Genius on National Geographic.

The Big Sick also gains a further two nods for Best Original Screenplay and Best Comedy.

Nominated for Best Action Movie is Baby Driver and Logan, starring Stephen Merchant.

Nominations for Best Drama Series include; American Godz, with Chris Obi and Erika Kaar with Director of Photography Brendan Galvin, The Crown with episodes directed by Philip Martin and stars Daniel Ings, Stranger Things with Casting Director Kate Ringsell and finally, Game Of Thrones, starring Kit Harington, Richard Dormer, David Bradley and Aisling Franciosi.

I Am Elizabeth Smart is nominated for Best Movie Made For TV, and was directed by Sarah Walker.

James Corden’s The Late Late Show is nominated for Best Talk Show.
